Make your USB Flash Drive Bootable using WinToFlash

Suddenly your PC/laptop Operating System(OS) corrupted and can’t recover using Recovery Mode option.
Your last option is to format your PC/laptop, but unfortunately your devices doesn’t have CD Drive.

WinToFlash starts a wizard that will help to make USB bootable and pull over the contents of a windows installation CD or DVD and prep the USB drive to become a replacement for the optical drive. It can also do this with your LiveCD or DOS.

What we need?

  • USB Flash Drive – atleast 2GB
  • WinRar – extracting app for file extension like zip, rar and others. [Download Now]
  • Operating System – on windows dvd , or a .iso windows image file
  • WinToFlash – tool that will make your USB Flash Drive bootable. [Download Now]

 

How to use WinToFlash?

  • First step is to install the winrar , if you don’t already have the program installed.
  • Now go to downloads and unzip the Novicorp WinToFlash program.

  • Double click the executable file

  • Click Next ; click I accept Eula ; unmark I agree to send statistical information ; click next ; click next ; click next ; click next
  • Next select advanced mode(right next to wizzard mode), select Transfer Windows Vista/2008/7/8 setup to USB drive , click create.

  • Now in the path that says Windows setup file path click select and browse to your. iso windows image file.

  • Or if you have a windows dvd you can unmark the box where it says: Use my ISO, RAR, ARJ, ZIP, 7z, CAB, DNG Image or archive ; or you can even mount the .iso file using setup_magicdisc if you want , and select the mounted drive letter.

  • Next click run accept the terms , you will get a message where it says the drive will be formatted click ok , again ok . The program will start copying the windows files.

  • When percentage reach 100. Congrats, we’re done and start to format your device.
